These small group tours are unique particularly because
they will be adjusted shortly before departure to match
desert flower bloom areas. This provides you with
the best California wildflowers viewing possible so that
you can really enjoy the lovely desert springtime.
You will be traveling across California with frequent
and plenty of stops with walking, giving you a chance to
really explore. There are several instances where
picnics will be planned for lunch, and one time where we
will be barbequing. You will have a chance to
select items from a market for your picnic. For
your convenience we will stay more than one night at the
same hotel wherever possible. Most breakfasts are
included at the hotel. Tours generally depart
around 8:00am andwe will be back at the hotel around 5:30p.m.
depending on the day's activities. A detailed
plan will be available to you upon reservation. |

Day 1:
Meet and
greet at the hotel in Los Angeles, refreshments provided. Complimentary
transportation from the airport to the hotel will be provided during limited
hours on this day. |

Day 2: Explore
Los Angeles, in the morning we feature a tour of the
Disney Concert Hall by architect Frank Gehry, then
drive through and explore Beverly Hills and
Hollywood. In the afternoon you have the
choice of visiting Universal Studios or
independently touring other areas in and around L.A.

Day 3: Departure
for Borrego Springs, our destination for the day.
Explore various interesting palm groves, a slot
canyon and wildflowers. The schedule will be
adjusted depending on the weather. We drive to
Desert Hot Springs for the night. |

Day 4: The
day will be spent in Palm
Springs where you will tour the town and see the main sights including the
Indian Canyons. We will take a gondola up to
San Jacinto Peak for some great views. Night in
Desert Hot Springs. |

Day 5: This day is
dedicated to the unique landscape of Joshua Tree National Park, a highlight
of the California travel tour. Enjoy California wildflowers and a sunset in the park. Night
in nearby Twentynine Palms. |

Day 6: Stop at Amboy Crater, then enter the Mojave desert,
view cactus and tour the Mitchell Caverns.
Spend the evening and night on the Las Vegas Strip. |

Day 7: In the morning take an optional tour to Hoover Dam,
then spend the rest of the day independently
exploring Las Vegas. Second night in Las Vegas. |
