Our adventure travel tours include two trained guides who share with you background information on each destination.  At Travel Dream West your interests come first- and we encourage you to share these interests with us before you even arrive at the tour. Let us know if you enjoy photography, hikes, swimming, bird watching, flower identifying, or anything else!  Because our travel tour groups are limited to 9-12 tour participants you can be assured of personalized, customized service.  This isn't mass tourism with big buses and twenty passengers.  We take our time sharing with you the beauty and uniqueness of the Western U.S. so that, in the end, you can look back on an unforgettable experience.

Note that all of our tours, are available on a customized basis throughout the year.  If you have a small group of interested individuals please contact us for information.  We are always happy to accommodate special interest groups including clubs, schools or families.  Our knowledge of the West gives you the opportunity to plan a tour that covers your group's special needs and interests, both as escorted tours or on your own.

West USA Adventure Travel Tours - Schedule and Pricing 2013

    - Roundtrip transportation in an air-conditioned mini-bus

    - 2 professionals: a knowledgeable tour guide and a driver for optimal service and security, available around the clock

    - Accommodation in selected, often small middle class hotels, rated *** or **, some historic hotels or comfortable cabins with restroom/shower       

    - All excursions, museums, park entrance fees, and attractions included in the official schedule described on the website
    - A well designed tour itinerary full of exciting activities, many off-the-beaten-track
    - Some breakfast, at least one dinner, a welcome appetizer and drink, a BBQ lunch grilled by our guides, snacks and water during the tour, a personal aluminum water bottle

    - Picnic utensils and trimmings, cool box, walking sticks, rain protection
    - First aid box
   

    - Your flight to and from the tour start and end (we are happy to help you arrange an inexpensive flight)
    - Transfer from the airport to the hotel (depending on tour included)

    - Trip cancellation insurance, luggage- and health insurance

    - Meals except the ones listed as included

    - Optional activities (white water rafting, horseback riding, additional museums, etc.)
    - Tips for hotels and tour guides

Except in special circumstances booking is required no later than 8 weeks before the tour start date, contact Travel Dream West for last-minute booking availability.  At booking time 30% of the total tour price is paid, in US dollars (all taxes and fees are included in the total price).  Four weeks before the tour the entire price of the trip must be paid.  By cancellation of a tour: before 60 days full refund minus $200 service and booking fees, 60-30 days 20% of the tour price, 30-15 days before tour 50%, 14-8 days before tour 70% and 7-0 days before tour 100% of the total tour price.  With five or less participants a small group surcharge per person will apply as follows: with 5 participants $250-$300 per person, with 4 participants $300-$400 per person. With 3 or less participants a special arrangement will be offered. You will be informed at least 7 weeks before departure if such small group surcharge would apply. At this time you would have the option to cancel your tour with a full refund of your deposit minus service/booking fees.

Each escorted tour will be provided as described on the web page and in brochures and catalogs and have no more than 12 participants plus 2 tour guides.  Our tours are planned a year in advance, and due to this it is sometimes necessary to update our schedule and make changes- you will be informed of these promptly.  Our responsibility begins at the start of the tour, you are responsible for your own transportation to and from the tour meeting place and timely arrival.
