Canyon Lands - tour schedule for Grand Circle travel

Canyonlands Tours - Adventure Tour of Utah, Arizona, Colorado and Nevada

These small group tours through the Canyon Lands take you to some of the nations most famous sights.

The Canyonlands tours combine all the greatest highlights of the Grand Circle area and less known natural wonders off-the-beaten path.  The schedule below lists the highlights.  There are many more stops included in this tour of Utah, Arizona, Colorado and Nevada than can be listed here. For your convenience we will stay wherever possible more than one night at the same hotel.

Your day will start around 8:00am and hotel check in is usually around 6pm in the evening.  You will get a detailed documentation before departure.  The Grand Circle travel tour covers four states with driving times between two to maximum five hours a day in an air-conditioned 12-15 passenger van, some with reclining single seats. There are always frequent stops and activities along the way.

Day 8: Durango - Silverton - San Juan Mountains (Rocky Mountains)
Main attractions are the wild west towns of Durango and Silverton (except February departure). We highly recommend an optional ride on the Durango & Silverton steam train dating back to gold rush days of 1882 that takes you from historic Durango's lively downtown to Silverton, a peaceful mountain village in the San Juan mountains. In the later afternoon you are invited to relax at a swim at nearby natural mineral hot springs.
