Outdoor Adventure Tours – Washington, California and Oregon Travel

Scenic small group tours through the Western USA from San Francisco to Seattle or reverse, perfect for those looking for the extraordinary.

See the West Coast on these beautiful scenic outdoor adventure tours full of natural splendor and cultural excitement off-the-beaten -path.
The Washington, California and Oregon travel tour starts in San Francisco, leads you along the Pacific Ocean, then heading inland towards the famous Cascade Range volcanoes, part of the Pacific Ring of Fire, through most diverse landscapes. Wander along sandy beaches, through spectacular giant Redwood forests and explore unique volcanic features while spending the night in comfortable, centrally located hotels. Our small group tours offer countless opportunities for photography, birding, hiking and nature viewing.

Northern California:
Enjoy the rarely visited Northern California Coast with scenic views from high cliffs, lighthouses and marine mammal colonies.  Learn about California history at well preserved Fort Ross, the most southern Russian settlement in 1812. Whaling and sardines were once important industries in and near Monterey, commemorated in John Steinbeck’s book Cannery Row, a tourist center today. Wander in aw among the highest trees in the world at Redwood National and State Parks. They protect the last old growth stands of gigantic Redwood trees.

Oregon and Washington State:
Take a hike along Oregon’s beautiful coast. Discover Oregon’s Cascade mountains, where thundering waterfalls abound as well as turquoise colored mountain lakes. Visit Crater Lake National Park, a volcanic crater forming the deepest lake in the U.S.  Then travel along the historic Columbia Gorge Highway to Washington State. Here, you visit Mt. St. Helen’s, which erupted in 1980 and devastated a vast area.  Trees and plants have regained the barren lands. Last but not least, discover Olympic National Park, a rare environment of temperate rainforest meeting high mountain peaks.
