Sandia Peak - Tours of New Mexico
Spend a
lovely evening with us as we ascend Sandia Peak for a
lovely dinner overlooking the sunset. |
|
Sandia Peak Is a beautiful
mountain standing over 10,000 ft. in the Cibola National
Forest in New Mexico. With a view estimated at 11,000
square miles of southwestern beauty, Sandia Peak offers
an unforgettable experience of the Rio Grande Valley and
New Mexico. You can look out across over a hundred
miles of southern expanse to the western Mount Taylor.
To the north lies Cabezon, the remnants of an eroding
volcano, and other volcanic formations. In between the
two is Redondo Peak, reportedly the largest volcanic
crater in the world. Eastwards is the mountain range
that shares its name, the Sandias, and the Sangre de
Cristo Mountains. Further south lies the Estancia
Valley framed by the Manzano Mountains. |
