United States of America – A Welcoming Nation for Visitors and Immigrants

We, representatives of the United States of America, embody the values of a diverse, beautiful nation, many of us descendants of immigrants (or immigrants ourselves), some of us Native Americans, all of us with a rich cultural history that shows itself throughout the fabric of our country.  Multiculturalism defines us.  Embracing people from other Nations is a core value to many Americans, and we at Travel Dream West stand in strong support of policies that keep our boarders open, keep families together, and offer support and safety to those less fortunate.

The founding fathers of the USA, including George Washington who became the 1st President in 1789, stood by the belief that this country would welcome foreigners with open arms, saying: “I had always hoped that this land might become a safe and agreeable asylum to the virtuous and persecuted part of mankind, to whatever nation they might belong.”  Early leaders recognized, as we do today, that by welcoming individuals from all nationalities we create a country of progress, merging the strengths of each culture to create the innovative and vibrant land we love to share on our small group tours with tourists from all over the world.

Multicultural Tours of Western USA

Guests on one of our small group tours from USA, Indonesia, Australia, England, Switzerland and Germany!

A core principle at Travel Dream West Tours is to bring visitors to the Western United States not only to introduce them to our incredible National Parks and natural wonders, but to immerse them in our rich and inclusive culture and history with tour itineraries that highlight the importance of American diversity.  As you travel around the Western States, you’ll meet friendly people who will discuss with you their ancestry and tell stories about how they came to live here.  Many had grandparents, or great grandparents, that arrived in this land with nothing but the clothes on their backs, lead here by the hope for a better life.  You are also likely to meet Native Americans who are eager to share their culture in the form of art, dance, museums, and conversation.  Our various cultures woven together create a rich experience for locals and foreigners alike.

Mount Rushmore Presidents

Mount Rushmore, South Dakota. Many presidents throughout the history of the USA strongly supported our open boarders.

Former President Bill Clinton rightly stated that “America has constantly drawn strength and spirit from wave after wave of immigrants… Bearing different memories, honoring different heritages, they have strengthened our economy, enriched our culture, renewed our promise of freedom and opportunity for all…”.

On our small group tours you may experience a microcosm of the United States’ larger multiculturalism, as guests from all over the globe join together to form unique friendships and share travel experiences.  With mutual respect and openness we travel around the Western USA.  Our tour guides – several of which are bilingual immigrants themselves – offer their knowledge and experience as they tour you around the states that they call home.  We will continue to welcome people from all over the world on our small group adventures and hope to share with you the varied cultural histories and experiences that the Western USA can offer.
